August Spotlight
This month's spotlight is the Sadie Centre. The Sadie Centre based in Letchworth North Herts, is a specialist venue focused on health promotion and illness prevention. The Centre aims to empower people of all ages and backgrounds with tools and techniques to enable them to take responsibility for their own health.
The Sadie Centre recently started sharing their Positive Movement sessions on the Moving More Activity Finder. Positive Movement is an award winning, gentle physical activity approach developed by the Sadie Centre, which combines techniques from Adaptive Yoga with the principles and methods of the Alexander Technique and Mindfulness. Their sessions have been designed to support those with physical disabilities and are open to anyone aged 60 plus with limited mobility or living with a long-term condition. You can see further details including how to book the Positive Movement sessions taking place at the Sadie Centre on the Moving More Activity Finder.
The Sadie Centre also have a series of free Positive Movement sessions that will take place within community venues around North Herts, due to start in September. Revisit Moving More soon to find out more about these sessions.
